Dr. Melichar is Board Certified in Family Medicine. Her interest in medicine began during her youth while volunteering at North Bay Hospital when she was just 14 years old. Dr. Melichar graduated from Gulf High School in New Port Richey and was a member of the National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society and Math Honor Society. She also served as President of the Student Council. Dr. Melichar went on to graduate from the University of South Florida. Following her graduation she attended medical school and completed her Family Medicine residency in Largo. Giving back to the community she loves is important to Dr. Melichar. Her patients appreciate her open and thorough communication that allows for a better understanding of their health.
