Ricardo
M. Santayana, M.D.
Doctor Santayana is board certified in
Internal Medicine and a member of both the American
College of Physicians and the American Society of
Internal Medicine. He completed his intern and
residency program at South Baltimore General Hospital
after receiving his medical degree from the University of
Costa Rica School of Medicine.
Doctor Santayana has been practicing in
Tampa since 1984 and has been the Chief of
Department of Medicine at Hillsborough County
Hospital and more recently the Vice-Chairman of Internal Medicine at Town
and Country Hospital. Currently, he is affiliated
with St. Joseph Hospital and University Community Hospital-Carrollwood.
