Dr. Molinares was born in Barranquilla, Colombia. She graduated with an Academic Excellence Award from Medical School in 2002 from Universidad del Norte, being recognized as a distinguished student, and completed her Family Medicine Residency at Howard University Hospital in Washington, DC. She accomplished six months of her internship in Colombia, and six months in the United States. She has worked as a medical assistant and researcher lab assistant in USF working with stem cell transplantation for possible cure of patients with San Filippo Syndrome. She has a strong interest in dermatological disorders and skin care. She also has been involved in multiple scholarly activities including participating as a presenter in National Medical Conferences such as NMA and STFM. She enjoys her free time by dancing, doing art works, traveling, and spending time with her son and family. She is fluent in English and Spanish.
